Simply do a search above to see if there is a 7 wire trailer wiring available for hooking up your 7 way. If there is not you can use part number 85343 trailer wiring adapter to convert any 4-Flat into a 7-Way. In addition you will use part number 20506 which will include the rest of wiring needed for electric brake controls. Installation Instructions for T-Connector Adapter for GMC Acadia
Part Numbers:

Tools Required:
- Drill (3/32” Drill Bit)
- Phillips Head Screwdriver
- 7mm Socket & Ratchet or Wrench
Step-by-Step Instructions:

Remove the Taillight Assemblies:
- Open the rear door.
- Remove both taillight housing assemblies by removing the two bolts for each light.
- Carefully pry the taillight housing assemblies away from the vehicle, being cautious not to break the alignment tabs.

Install the Driver-Side T-Connector:
- Disconnect the vehicle wiring harness from the driver’s side taillight socket.
- Plug the T-Connector end with the yellow wire between the vehicle wiring harness and the driver’s side taillight socket.

Route the T-Connector Wiring:
- On the driver’s side, route the T-Connector end with the green wire and the 4-flat connector down through the opening between the bumper and the vehicle body.

Install the Passenger-Side T-Connector:
- Route the T-Connector end with the green wire to the passenger’s side and up through the opening.
- Repeat step 2 on the passenger side using the T-Connector with the green wire.
Warning:
- Route the wiring carefully to avoid hot pipes, heat shields, the fuel tank, or any points that may pinch or damage the wiring.

Ground the White Wire:
- Locate a suitable grounding point near the connector, such as the vehicle’s frame or cross member. Avoid drilling into the vehicle floor or bed.
- Clean dirt and rustproofing from the area. Drill a 3/32” hole and secure the white wire using the provided eyelet and screw.
Caution:
- Verify what is behind any surface before drilling to avoid damage or injury. Do not drill into any exposed surfaces.

Reinstall the Taillight Assemblies:
- Reinstall the taillight housing assemblies, positioning the vehicle wiring harness between the housing and the vehicle body.
- Secure the remaining T-Connector harness with the provided cable ties to prevent damage or rattling.
Note:
- Mount the 4-flat connector in a suitable location under the vehicle. A mounting bracket is not included.

Test the Installation:
- Test and verify the T-Connector functionality using a test light or trailer.
