Step-by-Step Instructions:

Remove the Taillight Assemblies:
- Open the tailgate to remove the vehicle’s taillight housing assemblies.
- On the driver’s side, remove the plastic cover and pull back the insulation liner to access the plastic wing nut securing the taillight.
- Unscrew the wing nut and carefully pry the taillight housing assembly away from the vehicle, avoiding damage to the alignment tabs.
- Repeat for the passenger side.

Route the T-Connector Wires:
- Slit the grommet on both the driver and passenger sides to allow for the T-Connector wiring.
- Route the T-Connector ends with yellow and brown wires into the taillight pocket and reseat the grommet around the wires.
- Leave the 4-flat connector and black converter box in the cargo area.

Connect the Driver-Side T-Connector:
- Insert the T-Connector end with the yellow wire between the vehicle wiring connectors and lock them into place.
- Ensure all connectors are clean and properly secured.

Route the Passenger-Side T-Connector:
- Route the T-Connector with the green wire below the threshold cover to the passenger-side taillight housing.
- Repeat the steps above to connect the green wire.
Note:
- Store the 4-flat connector in the driver’s side storage compartment when not in use.
Warning:
- Ensure the harness is not pinched in the trunk latch.

Mount the Black Converter Box:
- Locate a flat surface on the driver’s side and mount the black converter box using the provided double-sided tape.

Ground the White Wire:
- Locate a suitable grounding point.
- Drill a 3/32” hole and secure the white wire using the provided eyelet and screw.
Caution:
- Verify what is behind any surface before drilling to avoid vehicle or personal damage.

Connect the Power Wire:
- Attach the provided black 12-gauge wire to the red power wire from the T-Connector box.

Route the Black Wire:
- Route the black wire either through a grommet and along the exterior frame or inside along the thresholds to the engine compartment.
- Avoid hot pipes, heat shields, or areas where the wire could be pinched or damaged.

Connect to the Vehicle Battery:
- Disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
- Attach the yellow fuse holder to the positive (+) battery cable using the provided ring terminal.
- Connect the black wire to the fuse holder using the yellow butt connector.

Reconnect the Battery:
- Reconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
- Insert the 10-amp fuse into the fuse holder.
Warning:
- Test the installation with a test light or trailer to ensure proper functionality.

Secure and Reassemble:
- Secure the T-Connector harness with the provided cable ties, avoiding areas that could pinch or damage the wires.
- Reinstall all panels, thresholds, storage covers, and trim, ensuring no wires are pinched.

- Max. tail lights: (5.6 amps)
