Simply do a search above to see if there is a 7 wire trailer wiring available for hooking up your 7 way. If there is not you can use part number 85343 trailer wiring adapter to convert any 4-Flat into a 7-Way. In addition you will use part number 20506 which will include the rest of wiring needed for electric brake controls. Installation Instructions for T-One® T-Connector for Lincoln MKX
Part Numbers:

Tools Required:
- Torx 25 Driver
- 10mm Socket or Wrench
- 5.5mm or 7/32” Socket or Wrench
- Trim Panel Remover
- Drill (3/32” Drill Bit)
- Phillips Head Screwdriver
- Test Probe
Step-by-Step Instructions:

Access the Taillight Housing:
- Open the rear tailgate to access the screws holding the taillights in place.
- Remove the T-25 Torx screws and carefully pry the taillight housings rearward without breaking the alignment tabs.

Remove Lower Fascia Components:
- On both sides, remove clips from the wheel well and all screws from the lower fascia area.
- Carefully pull back fascia pieces to expose the area behind the fascia underneath the vehicle.

Mount the T-Connector Black Box:
- Underneath the vehicle, determine a mounting point behind the rear bumper fascia on the driver’s side.
- Use the provided double-sided tape to mount the black box with the epoxy side facing down to prevent water accumulation.

Connect Driver-Side T-Connector:
- Disconnect the vehicle wiring harness from the driver-side taillight socket.
- Route the T-Connector end with yellow wires up between the bumper and vehicle body into the taillight pocket.
- Plug the T-Connector with yellow wires in-between the driver-side taillight socket and vehicle wiring harness.

Connect Passenger-Side T-Connector:
- Route the T-Connector end with green wires to the passenger side and the 4-flat connector underneath the bumper.
- Route the green wire through the opening on the passenger side and plug it into the taillight socket, repeating the process from Step 4.

Ground the White Wire:
- Locate a suitable grounding point near the black converter box. Avoid drilling into the vehicle floor or bed.
- Drill a 3/32” hole and secure the white wire using the provided eyelet and screw.
Caution: Verify the area behind any surface before drilling to prevent damage or injury.

Prepare and Connect the Power Wire:
- Disconnect the vehicle’s Negative (-) battery cable and remove the fuse from the yellow fuse holder.
- Attach the ring terminal to the Positive (+) battery cable and secure it. Connect the other end of the fuse holder to the black 12-gauge wire using the yellow butt connector.

Route the Power Wire:
- Route the black 12-gauge wire rearward along the frame rail, ensuring to avoid hot pipes, heat shields, fuel tanks, or any areas that may pinch the wire.

Connect the Power Wire to the Black Box:
- Route the black wire to the driver-side taillight area and connect it to the black wire from the T-Connector black box using the provided yellow butt connector.

Reconnect the Battery and Test:
- Reconnect the vehicle’s Negative (-) battery cable.
- Install the 15-amp fuse into the fuse holder and test the installation using a test light or trailer.

Reassemble the Vehicle:
- Reinstall the taillight housing assemblies, securing the vehicle wiring harness between the housing and the body.
- Use the provided cable ties to secure the remainder of the T-Connector harness under the bumper.
- Replace all covers, clips, and screws removed during installation.

Mount the 4-Flat Connector:
- Mount the 4-flat connector in a suitable location under the vehicle. Bracket not included.
Specifications:
- Max. stop/turn light: 2 per side (4.2 amps)
- Max. tail lights: 7.5 amps
