Installation Time:
- 30 minutes: For vehicles with exhausts that separate at the rear.

Step-by-Step Instructions:
Pre-2011 Models:

Lower Exhaust:
- Remove two (2) exhaust hanger brackets per side using a 13mm socket.
- Apply lubricant or soapy water to ease the removal of the metal hanger rod from the rubber isolator.

Prepare Weldnuts:
- Run the M12 bolt into the existing weldnuts to clean out any debris.
-
Fishwire Hardware:
- Fishwire 1/2" carriage bolts and spacers through the access holes on the driver and passenger side frame rails.
- Pull the hardware through the existing holes (two on the passenger side, one on the driver side).
-
Position Hitch:
- Slide the hitch over the mufflers and align it with the frame.
- Loosely install the M12 bolt and conical washer (teeth side facing the hitch) into the existing weldnut.
-
Secure Fasteners:
- Install the 1/2" conical tooth washers (teeth side facing the hitch) and 1/2" hex nuts.
-
Torque Fasteners:
- Tighten all 1/2" fasteners to 75 ft-lb (102 N*m).
- Tighten the M12 bolt to 68 ft-lb (92 N*m).

Reinstall Exhaust:
- Reattach the exhaust hangers.
2011 and Newer Models:

Remove Plastic Appearance Panels:
- For Chrysler 300/300C, remove the plastic panels covering the trunk pan. Return the panels to the vehicle owner.

Lower Exhaust:
- Remove two (2) exhaust hanger brackets per side using a 13mm socket.
- Push the muffler upward and outward to access the frame rail.
-
Remove Muffler:
- V8 Models: Remove and save the two (2) assembly bolts and springs from the flange. Carefully remove the muffler.
- V6 Models: Remove and save the band clamp, separate the exhaust pipes, and remove the muffler.

Prepare Weldnuts:
- Run the M12 bolt into the existing weldnuts to clean out any debris.

Fishwire Hardware:
- Fishwire 1/2" carriage bolts and spacers through the access holes on the driver and passenger side frame rails.
- Pull the hardware through the existing holes (two on the passenger side, one on the driver side).

Install Passenger-Side Bracket:
- Position the bracket over the passenger muffler.
- Support the bracket and loosely install the M12 bolt and conical tooth washer through the bracket and into the frame rail.
- Push the passenger muffler upward and outward for clearance, and install the 1/2" conical washers and hex nuts.

Torque Fasteners:
- Tighten all 1/2" fasteners to 75 ft-lb (102 N*m).
- Tighten the M12 bolt to 68 ft-lb (92 N*m).

Reinstall Components:
- Reattach the exhaust hangers and reinstall wiring and fascia.

Installation Instructions for T-One® T-Connector for Dodge Challenger

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Open the Trunk:
- Temporarily remove the rear threshold plate.
- Partially remove the felt trunk liner behind the taillights. Several trim panel fasteners will need to be removed to access the wiring harness.
-
Locate the Vehicle’s Taillight Wiring Harness:
- On both the driver and passenger sides of the vehicle, locate the vehicle’s taillight wiring harness connection points.
- Separate the connectors carefully, ensuring not to damage the locking tabs. Ensure all connector surfaces are clean and free of dirt.
-
Connect the Passenger-Side T-Connector:
- On the passenger side, separate the vehicle’s wiring connectors and attach the T-One® T-Connector containing the green wire.
- Ensure all connectors are fully inserted with the locking tabs in place.
-
Route the Driver-Side T-Connector:
- Route the connector containing the yellow wire down the threshold to the driver’s side.
- Push the wiring between the vehicle body and carpet.
- Repeat Step 3 for the T-One® T-Connector end with the yellow wire.

Ground the White Wire:
- Locate a suitable grounding point near the connector, such as an existing ground stud.
- Drill a 3/32” hole and secure the white wire with the provided eyelet and screw.
- Clean dirt and rustproofing from the grounding area.
Caution: Verify the area behind the surface before drilling to avoid damage or injury. Do not drill into any exposed surfaces.

Connect the Power Wire:
- Locate the battery inside the trunk on the passenger side.
- Inside the vehicle, connect the black 12-gauge wire to the black wire from the T-One® T-Connector black box using the supplied yellow butt connector.

Install the Fuse Holder:
- Disconnect the vehicle’s negative (-) battery cable.
- Remove the fuse from the yellow fuse holder.
- Attach the ring terminal of the fuse holder to the vehicle’s positive (+) battery cable.
- Connect the other end of the fuse holder to the black 12-gauge wire using the yellow butt connector.
- Insert the 15-amp fuse into the fuse holder.

Reconnect the Battery:
- Reconnect the vehicle’s negative (-) battery cable.
- Test the installation using a test light or trailer.
- Reset the vehicle’s electrical system by temporarily removing the key from the ignition.

Mount the Black Box:
- Locate a flat, out-of-the-way surface and mount the T-One® T-Connector black box module using the provided double-sided tape.

Secure the Wiring:
- Use the provided cable ties to secure the remaining harness, avoiding areas that may pinch, cut, or melt the wire.

Reassemble the Vehicle:
- Replace the carpet, panels, and any clips removed during installation. Ensure no wires are pinched or damaged.

Store the 4-Flat Connector:
- Store the 4-flat connector in the trunk area when not in use.
