Step-by-Step Instructions:
1. Remove Mud Flaps:

- Remove (2) screws near the wheel well liner per side using a Phillips screwdriver or 8 mm socket.
- Keep the mud flaps for reinstallation.
2. Remove Rear Fascia:
- Remove (1) rivet from each wheel well and (3) rivets from the bottom of the fascia using a flat head screwdriver.
- Open the hatch and remove (2) screws near the brake light.
- Detach the fascia carefully and trim it as needed (refer to Figure 4).
3. Lower Muffler:
- Use exhaust removal pliers to detach (4) rubber hangers—(2) per exhaust and (1) in the middle of the car.
- Spray lubricant or soapy water on the hangers to ease removal.
- Support the exhaust to prevent damage before removing the rubber hangers.
4. Remove Heat Shield:
- Remove (4) screws securing the heat shield to the vehicle using a 10 mm socket.
