Specifications:
- Max Gross Trailer Weight: 2,000 lb. (908 kg)

- Note: Do not exceed the towing vehicle manufacturer’s rating.
Step-by-Step Instructions:

Position U-Bolts:
- Place the U-bolts in the rearmost indentation in the frame extension as shown.

Raise Hitch:
- Lift the hitch into place and loosely install the conical washers and 7/16-20 (fine thread) nuts.

Fishwire Carriage Bolts and Blocks:
- Insert the coiled end of the fishwire through the forward attachment hole in the hitch, into the frame, and out the access hole.
- Slide the block onto the fishwire and thread the carriage bolt into the coil. Keep the block and bolt separate until inside the frame.
- Pull the carriage bolt and block into position with the thread showing below the hitch side bracket.
- Install the lock washer and 7/16-14 (coarse thread) nut.

Tighten Fasteners:
- Tighten all 7/16” fasteners to 50 Lb.-Ft. (68 N*M) using a torque wrench.
Hardware List:
- (2) U-Bolts: 7/16-20
- (2) Blocks: 3/16” x 1” x 2”
- (4) Conical Washers: 7/16”
- (2) Lock Washers: 7/16”
- (4) Nuts: 7/16-20 (fine thread)
- (2) Nuts: 7/16-14 (coarse thread)
- (2) Carriage Bolts: 7/16-14 x 1-1/2”
- (1) Fishwire: 7/16”
Safety Notes:
- Regularly inspect all fasteners and the hitch ball to ensure they are securely tightened.
- If the hitch is removed, plug all holes in the trunk pan or other body panels to prevent water and exhaust fumes from entering.
