If there is not you can use part number 85343 trailer wiring adapter to convert any 4-Flat into a 7-Way. In addition you will use part number 20506 which will include the rest of wiring needed for electric brake controls. Installation Instructions for T-One® T-Connector for Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross
Part Numbers:

- Trim Panel Remover
- 10mm Socket & Ratchet or Wrench
- Drill (3/32” Drill Bit)
- Wire Crimpers
- Wire Cutters
- Phillips Head Screwdriver
- Test Probe
Step-by-Step Instructions:

Open the Rear Hatch:
- Partially remove the plastic threshold cover, cargo trays, and pull back the driver-side trim panel to locate the vehicle wiring inside the rear cargo area.

Disconnect the Negative (-) Battery Cable:
- Disconnect the vehicle’s Negative (-) battery cable.
- Remove the fuse from the fuse holder on the T-One® Connector harness if not already removed.

Prepare the T-Connector:
- Remove the fuse from the supplied fuse holder if it is still installed.
-
Locate and Connect the Driver-Side Tow Plug:
- On the driver’s side, locate the mating tow plug connector.
- Insert the T-One® Connector harness into the vehicle’s tow plug harness and lock it in place.

Mount the Black Box:
- Choose a flat, out-of-the-way surface to mount the T-One® Connector’s black box using the provided double-sided tape.
Caution: Verify what is behind any surface prior to drilling to avoid damage or injury. Do not drill into exposed surfaces.

Ground the White Wire:
- Locate a suitable grounding point near the connector, such as an existing ground stud, or drill a 3/32” hole.
- Secure the white wire using the provided eyelet and screw.
- Clean the grounding area of dirt and rustproofing before securing.

Route the 4-Flat Connector:
- Route the 4-flat connector from below the driver-side trim panel into the rear storage compartment.
Warning: If routing the wire through a grommet and along the vehicle exterior, avoid hot pipes, heat shields, and the fuel tank to prevent damage to the wire.

Secure the Harness:
- Use the provided cable ties to secure the remaining T-One® Connector harness, ensuring it does not rattle or get damaged.
- Avoid areas where the wires could be pinched, cut, or melted.

Reconnect the Battery and Test:
- Reconnect the vehicle’s Negative (-) battery cable.
- Insert the 15-amp fuse into the fuse holder.
- Test the installation using a test light or trailer. Reset the vehicle’s electrical system by temporarily removing the key from the ignition.

Reinstall Trim Panels:
- Reinstall the plastic trim panels, thresholds, storage covers, floor coverings, and other items removed during installation.
- Ensure no wires are pinched or damaged.

Store the 4-Flat Connector:
- Store the 4-flat connector in the rear cargo area when not in use.
- Use a bracket or electrical box to mount the trailer tow harness in an accessible location.
